Original Beni Ouarain rugs 

At Craft Sisters we sell classic newly produced Beni Ouarain rugs hand-knotted by local Berber women in the middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. All the rugs are linked based on an ancient craft tradition, which has been cherished and preserved over many generations. Characterized by a Beni Ouarain rug is the bright bottom with a black or brown graphic pattern. The rugs are made of the finest sheep's wool, ensuring incredibly soft, inviting rugs with good fullness. The uncolored wool has a high content of lanolin (the natural oil of wool), which makes the carpet easy to hold.

The classic rugs in shaded colors fit well into the Nordic, minimalist style. The carpets bring warmth and softness and help to assemble the room.
