Boujaad rug

Vintage Boujaad ('bu-sjat') rugs are handwoven in the middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The carpets are made of 100 percent sheep's wool, which is naturally dyed in primarily warm reddish and orange tones, and where the patterns are usually irregular graphic elements. Each rug tells its own story, based on a strong tribal tradition and the weaver's narrative.

Our Boujaad rugs are all vintage and carefully selected by the Craft Sisters.

Maintenance: Shake regularly. Use plain soap solution and water afterwards, if you get stains on your rug. Gently scrub with soft sponge. Can also be cleaned.
