Azilal rug ('asi-lal') from the Azilal region in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. The rugs are made by local Berber women, who produce them for their own use, and are characterized by their colorful patterns and beautiful motifs on an undyed wool background. Originally, the weavers did not have a written language and therefore passed on their stories in the handwoven rugs, each of which is unique.
The rug can be used as decoration on floors or walls.
100% wool (sometimes combined with cotton).
