Butcher's rug

Boucheroite (’bu-sjo-rit’) carpets are handwoven by Berber women in Morocco's Atlas Mountains.

The unique vintage carpets are woven from many different textiles such as cotton and wool, each with its own story and special expression created by the individual carpet weaver. The carpets are colorful, patterned, and expressive, serving as functional art on the floor or decoration on walls. They bring life and warmth to rooms.

We carefully select each carpet and only buy those we want in our own home. Maintenance: Shake regularly. Use regular soap solution and then water if you get stains on your carpet. Gently scrub with a soft sponge.

Can be machine washed at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle.
