KNOTCRAFT CENTER NEPAL
Nepal Knotcraft Centre is a leading manufacturer of knotted products (also called macramé), wood carvings and goods made from natural fibers.
The company was founded in 1984 with the aim of creating jobs for women and giving them greater economic independence. Initially, the team consisted of three employees, but today hundreds of socially and economically disadvantaged Nepalese women are associated with the project.
Products are made from traditional plants sourced from both the Himalayan mountains and the lowlands.
