KNOTCRAFT CENTRE NEPAL
Nepal Knotcraft Centre is a leading producer of knotted products (also called macramé), wood carvings, and goods made from natural fibers.
The company was founded in 1984 with the aim of creating jobs for women and giving them greater financial independence. Initially, the team consisted of three employees, but today hundreds of socially and economically disadvantaged Nepali women are involved in the project.
Products are made from traditional plants sourced from both the Himalayas mountains and the lowland areas.
