Kumbeshwar Technical School
Kumbeshwar Technical School (KTS) is a non-profit NGO, founded in 1983 in Patan, Nepal. The organization runs orphanages, kindergartens, schools, and a technical training institution.
KTS was originally established to help the most marginalized castes, who were previously excluded from education and work. Today, KTS offers vocational training to low-income groups in carpet weaving, knitting, and furniture carpentry. Additionally, they provide care and schooling for children up to 6th grade.
Craft Sisters collaborates with KTS on the production of knitted mittens, scarves, and Christmas decorations.
