Description

Azilal rug (‘asi-lal’) from the Azilal region in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. The rugs are made by local Berber women who produce them for their own use, characterized by their colorful patterns and beautiful motifs on an undyed wool background. Originally, the weavers did not have a written language and therefore passed down their stories in the handwoven rugs, each of which is unique.

The rug can be used as decoration on floors or walls.

100% sheep wool (sometimes combined with cotton).

Washing and care

Støvsuges skånsomt uden børste eller rystes og bankes grundigt udenfor. Pletter fjernes forsigtigt med lidt uldvask eller shampoo og lunkent vand. Undgå at gnide i tæppet. Ved større pletter anbefales professionel rens.
