Description

Extra strong vintage Boujaad ('bu-sjat') rug handwoven in the central Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The rugs are made of 100% sheep's wool and naturally dyed mainly in warm red and orange tones. Boujaad rugs are all vintage and represent a piece of the Berber tribe's culture and history.

Rahamna rugs come from the same region and are characterized by their graphic dark brown woven edge made of goat hair, giving them a distinctive look.

All rugs are carefully selected by Craft Sisters and cleaned before sale. They are easy to maintain – they can be shaken, cleaned, and stains can be removed with a damp cloth. A Berber rug can last for many years to come.
