Beautiful and slightly thin vintage Boujaad ('bu-sjat') rug handwoven in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The rugs are made of 100% sheep's wool and naturally dyed primarily in warm red and orange tones. Boujaad rugs are all vintage and represent a piece of the Berber tribe's culture and history.
The Rahamna rugs come from the same region and are characterized by their graphic dark brown woven border made of goat hair, which gives them a distinctive expression.
All rugs are carefully selected by Craft Sisters and cleaned before sale. They are easy to maintain – they can be shaken, cleaned, and stains can be removed with a damp cloth. A Berber rug can last for many years to come.
